sorry for not updating the site much this last week T-T... i've been on a bunch of different stuff, including (but not limited to) collecting and repairing walkmans!!! i've managed to get my hands on a sony wm-fx171, a casio as-201r, and a sanyo m-1119 :) i'd like to eventually record my lo-fi tracks onto tape, but the only tape recorder i have right now (the sanyo player) has a busted potentiometer (speed control) and a LOT of warble and wow/flutter, so it hasn't really worked out just yet.
anyway, i've been working a lot of my music lately! i've got a new lo-fi album coming out next wednesday, so stay tuned for that!!! i think it's neat :D
i'm making good use of the last few weeks of summer break by giving my creative projects my all! i uploaded my microttrpg to drivethrurpg, where it's gotten a pretty good reception (including a 5-star rating!!), and changed the cover of my spanish short story collection ("Nomeolviden"). i'm not done with the zine story yet but it's going great. also, --announcement--, i'm planning on translating my short story collection to english soon!!!!!! i think you internet people would enjoy it, and you're kinda my target audience, so i don't think i'm taking good advantage of the collection with it being a spanish-exclusive, you know. so stay tuned for that!
sorry for not updating the site that often this couple of days, but big art stuff is coming soooon >:)
yesterday i gave another pass at the micro tabletop role-playing game (microTTRPG) i made on february last year (around this same time). updated it with the new megalo sky lore and drew up a new cover. this second edition is already up on itch.io, and i'd like to soon have it on drivethrurpg too!!! while it's pretty bare-bones, i think it fulfills the purpose of a one-page microrpg that embodies what my novel's about, so i'm satisfied with it for now :)
between yesterday and today i finally managed to work out the backstory for a short story i'm writing for a zine with friends. it takes place in the far past of my novel (megalo sky)'s world, which is [spoiler alert] our current world.
it's about a flying ship that travels to the past (to our time) to warn everyone of the upcoming cataclysm that will destroy everything on the year 2038 and turn our reality into megalo sky's state. it's narrated from the point-of-view of a college freshman that finds out about the legend of a flying ship trapped eternally above the clouds -which is, indeed, THE flying ship i just mentioned.
my problem is......... i don't know how i'll make this story fit into 10-15 pages. it kinda sounds more novella-lengthed. i know stories are scalable, but it may take some work to shrink this one :p
update: it's a few hours later, and i succesfully finished planning it!! i jotted down the events page-by-page, so in theory i shouldn't go past the limit. so far... success.
